What We Do in Intermediary
The Intermediary organization supports tens of thousands of real estate agents across Germany, France, and Belgium, enabling them to provide exceptional service to property owners and seekers throughout every stage of the transaction process. We develop tools that empower agents to establish a robust online presence, digitize their workflows, and amplify their local expertise and relationships, all while leveraging AVIV's extensive user base and wealth of data.
The Identity team is responsible for the Intermediary Profile Page capability, also known as the Agency Page. This feature enables real estate agents to build trust with property owners and seekers—those looking to buy, sell, or rent. Our scope spans from managing the back-office tools for agents to delivering the agency profile pages displayed on B2C portals.
We handle existing legacy solutions while focusing on building the next-generation platform. This future-ready system is based on white label products that will serve as a consistent foundation across all AVIV markets, allowing for the gradual decommissioning of legacy infrastructure.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Collaborate with colleagues from France, Belgium, and Germany to design and develop the next generation of our successful real estate portals in an agile environment, leveraging React, TypeScript, and AWS.
- Contribute to the foundation of innovative products and the evolution of property search for the next generation.
- Emphasize automation in build, deployment, and release processes, maintaining high standards for quality through well-structured designs, thorough code reviews, and robust testing practices.
- Share knowledge and expertise within the team, fostering a culture of mutual support and continuous technical growth.
- Work in B2C and B2B, where your contributions will have an immediate and visible impact on key business metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Professional Experience: You have several years of experience as a senior front-end software engineer, specializing in building scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in developing micro front-end architectures using React, TypeScript, state management, and design systems.
- Familiarity with tools like CircleCI, Cypress, Terraform, Datadog, and package management for artifact delivery is a plus.
- Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a "you build it, you run it" mindset.
- Cloud Proficiency: You have hands-on experience with cloud technologies (ideally AWS) and modern development approaches, demonstrating a passion for cutting-edge tools and methods.
- Product Contribution: You are committed to continuously improving both the product and the team's technical maturity.
- Mentorship: You have a history of mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaboration: You thrive in agile, cross-functional environments and enjoy taking ownership of your work.
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English.
