JOB DESCRIPTION

As Platform Engineers, we define standards and build tools that support Software Developers and DevOps Engineers to use our cloud environment comfortably and efficiently. Our international team provides them everything they need to go from idea to live in the shortest amount of time possible. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Live the DevOps culture in cross-disciplinary and cross-functional product teams,
  • Ensure maximum automation and repeatability,
  • Think big and work in small iterations towards complex goals,
  • Be enthusiastic about modern technologies and knowledge sharing (e.g. pair programming),
  • Appreciate an environment where feedback culture is important,
  • Work hand-in-hand with more functions within the team (Product Manager, QA Engineer) in cross-team groups,
  • Practice an Agile mindset (team player),
  • ​​​​​​​Ensure observability and testability of all products we make.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale production AWS and related IaC tooling such as Terraform,
  • Strong knowledge of cloud best practices and standards,
  • Good knowledge of networking stack and complex architectures in AWS (Transit gateways, distributed network layouts),
  • Hands-on experience with at least one programming language,
  • Good understanding of the concepts behind CI/CD and their benefits,
  • Experience with Monitoring and testing tools, ideally Datadog,
  • ​​​​​​​Understanding of how to use version control systems for collaborative work with multiple contributors.
