JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team, where a collaborative, shift-left testing approach is central to our development process. This role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders from the initial stages of the software lifecycle to ensure quality is embedded from the ground up.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in early-stage planning with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and identify potential quality risks.
- Collaborate actively in requirements discussions, bringing a quality perspective to refine acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for both UI and API layers, ensuring comprehensive and fast feedback loops.
- Work hands-on with CI/CD tools to integrate tests into pipelines, enabling continuous and efficient testing.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in shift-left testing, including exploratory testing and early code reviews.
- Contribute to performance, security, accessibility, and usability testing to ensure high standards across all areas.

Mentor and support team members on test strategy and automation practices to foster a quality-first culture across the team.
QUALIFICATIONS

3-4 years of proven experience in quality assurance, ideally with a focus on web applications in a shift-left or agile testing environment.

Strong knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, WebdriverIO) and experience in at least one programming language (preferably JavaScript or TypeScript).

Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of performance, security, and accessibility testing best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk assessment.

Fluency in English, with the ability to clearly articulate testing strategies and quality concerns to the team.
